HAIR DYE

Getting Dye off your hands and skin:

• Use rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball or disposable cloth. Follow up by using liquid soap and water

Getting Hair Dye to last as long as possible:

• Bleach hair first before applying hair dye. (Note: This allows the color to better penetrate the hair--making the color last longer than 8 weeks)
• Make sure hair is completely dry
• Use a high PH Shampoo (cheaper shampoo tends to work better because it strips hair, giving better preparation for dying)
• Do not use conditioner before dying. This includes products that have shampoo and conditioner in one.

Making Dye Darker:

• Add small amounts of black dye until desired color is achieved
