Our plate may look like an ordinary piece of metal but it\u2019s a lot of science, aerospace science to be exact. If you take a trip down to the local hardware store and try to stop your phone\u2019s EMF with any various metal plates of varying widths, you\u2019ll fail. Stopping EMF requires absorption, separation and redirection of fields and to achieve that requires hiring people who can make it in a lab. Usually, a plate like this is baked at 2000 degrees in a vacuum for three hours and it comes out rock hard, like hardened steel. We wanted it flexible since it\u2019s going to be in your pocket, like foil but with shielding strong enough to stop low-level magnetic field. We found a way to do it.
