GOVERNMENT LEVEL ENCRYPTION

If you like, we can encrypt your USB/Flash Drive to a password of your choosing before shipping it to you. Like everything in life, there are pros and cons to encryption.

PROS

• The drive will be government-level encrypted. Therefore, your private files, photos, diary, etc will be safe from prying eyes. If you lose your drive, you don't have to worry about the world knowing your business.

• It takes 2-full days to install this encryption, but we do it for you... no work for you.

• You can choose to encrypt the entire drive or only a portion of the drive. You can determine how big a protected folder you want on the rive. For example, if the drive is 32 GB and you want 16GB secured for you and the rest open... we can do that. For example, maybe you want to put a word file with all your passwords into a secure folder or medical records or credit card or legal files. It will be safe within that protected folder.

CONS

• If you lose the password, you will not be able to recover your files. You must choose a password you'll never forget. There is no pasword-recovery anywhere on earth for this level of encryption. Forgetting your password means everything on that drive is lost until you can remember the password.

• If you give your password to someone you shouldn't have, there is no resetting the password. You would have to send the drive back to us for reinstallation with a new password.

• The encryption is not hard-wired into the drive. If you decide to format the drive, you would erase the entire contents of the drive including the encryption we installed.

• You will lose a small portion of your memory on the USB/Flash drive to support the encryption.

• You have to pay us 12.00 USD to install the encryption. We are charging you for our time as encryption ties up our computers--it takes two (2) full days to encrypt each drive.

• Your order will be delayed a few days so that we can install the encryption. If you're buying these as a gift, keep this in mind.

• You must tell us your desired password to install the encryption. We destroy the password from our system after we ship the item to you. More importantly, the password is useless without the drive. Even if we kept your password (which we do not), it's useless without the drive in our possession. Therefore, this entire process is still of great value to you and secure.
